December 11–12, 2026
About the event
Mindanao Adlai Summit and Expo 2026 brings together farmers, cooperatives, researchers, local government, processors and buyers to grow Mindanao’s adlai industry.
What is adlai?
Adlai (Coix lacryma-jobi, also called Job’s tears) is a cereal grain that can be cooked like rice or corn grits. It tolerates dry spells and poor soils better than many staples, which makes it a promising crop for upland and rain-fed farms.
The summit looks at the whole chain: seed and production, post-harvest and milling, food products, nutrition, and getting adlai to market.
